Former Managing Director of Oppenheimer & Co. brings more than 25 years of investment banking, private equity, and operational experience to PaySimple as new CFO
DENVER – January 11, 2017 — PaySimple, the leading service commerce platform for businesses, today has announced that Marc Thompson has joined the team as Chief Financial Officer. He will be responsible for supporting the company’s growth initiatives, driving its capitalization strategy, and overseeing the finance and accounting organizations.

Thompson has over 25 years of investment banking, private equity, and operational experience. Most recently, Marc was Co-Head of Investment Banking at Oppenheimer & Co, where he also formed the Software & Services team that executed over 120 financing and M&A transactions valued in excess of $15 billion. Prior to Oppenheimer, he was a Managing Director at CIBC Capital Partners and served on several portfolio company boards, advising on acquisitions and debt financing.
