David Sharp, PaySimple’s General Manager, joined PaySimple in 2007 and is passionate about helping PaySimple’s customers, employees and investors realize their full potential with the simplicity and flow that PaySimple’s commerce enablement platform brings to the marketplace. David has 26 years of experience in the payments and software industry, including eight years as Vice President of the Western Region for Global Payments. During his career, he has led business development for payment network processing, agent bank and ISO programs, as well as a variety of alternative payment solutions. David served as a non-commissioned officer in the U.S. Army following graduation from the Defense Language Institute and holds a BBA in International Business from the University of Georgia.
SVP, STRATEGY & IMPLEMENTATION
As Senior Vice President of Product and Operations, Jim Olson is responsible for product strategy and execution at PaySimple. Jim joined the company in 2012 and leads a team of Product Managers and Designers that are passionate about delivering experiences that help business owners grow their revenue, improve business insights and save time. Jim has over 15 years of experience developing and managing digital products and product teams at startups and growth organizations. He’s passionate about building great teams and great products. Jim is a private pilot, served as an NCO in the Marine Corps, and holds a BS in Business Management from Oregon State University.
VP, CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE
Jeff Olson is Vice President of Customer Experience at PaySimple, responsible for customer engagement, retention and growth by leading Customer Success and Customer Care for the organization. Jeff joined PaySimple in 2014 and has more than 10 years of leadership experience in technology and customer management. Jeff is passionate about building customer-facing teams, developing leaders, and creating operational excellence to support business growth. Jeff strives to deliver exceptional experiences for customers and partners to support long-term loyalty and customer advocacy. He holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs.
Logan is the Vice President of Sales, leading a sales team passionate about providing the right solutions to help small businesses and organizations grow and thrive. Prior to joining PaySimple in 2017, Logan led the Colorado-based sales team for Constant Contact, a leading provider of SMB marketing software. He has over 15 years of experience in software sales, specifically focused around solving SMB challenges through a consultative and problem solving approach to selling. He holds a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Oregon.
VP OF MARKETING, PAYMENT SOLUTIONS
As Vice President of Marketing, Payment Solutions, Steve is responsible for the overall marketing and communications strategy for PaySimple. Steve has over 20 years of experience leading a market vision and strategy for companies ranging from small tech startups to fortune 500 companies within the financial services and payments technology industry. Prior to joining the company in 2022, Steve held marketing leadership roles at Facteus, Fiserv, CheckFree, and Corillian Corporation. He is focused on understanding our customers, markets, and industry to help deliver the best payments products and service to our partners and small business customers. Steve has an MBA from The University of Portland and a B.A. in Communications from Brigham Young University.
As Vice President of Operations, Wes Cropp is responsible for strategy and execution across Business, Payments and Data Operations. Wes has over 15 years of experience in the payments and financial technology industry, leading operations through many phases of scale and growth. Wes leads a team of Operations professionals who are passionate about innovation and making the lives of business owners and employees easier. Wes holds a BA in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Iowa.

Andy joined PaySimple in 2022 as the Senior Director of Partnerships. He is responsible for leading the evolution and growth of PaySimple’s integrated partner business and fostering mutually beneficial relationships with the organization’s strategic partners. Andy possesses a unique ability to build long-lasting partnerships based on trust, collaboration, and shared success. His passion for cultivating meaningful connections allows him to identify and nurture opportunities that generate win-win solutions for all parties involved. Andy is a strong advocate for leadership and believes in the power of developing leaders within his team. He is deeply committed to empowering his team, guiding them towards achieving their full potential, and fostering a culture of continuous growth and improvement. Prior to PaySimple, Andy spent 15+ year in various partnerships and marketing roles at American Express, Estee Lauder, L’Oreal, Altria Group and Zip Co. Andy holds an MBA from Fordham University and a B.S. in Business Management from New Jersey Institute of Technology.
Patrick Smyth joined PaySimple in 2014 and is responsible for the overall technical vision and strategy for PaySimple’s SaaS and mobile payment solutions. Prior to joining PaySimple, Patrick worked for multiple startups and growth organizations in the Denver area and was an architect and lead at Ricoh USA. With over 15 years of experience, Patrick is well-versed in building and leading distributed teams of software engineers that strive for quality and continuous improvement. Patrick earned a BS in Computer Science from Colorado State University.
