DENVER, CO – November 13, 2012 – PaySimple, the leading provider of cloud-based automated payments and receivables solutions for small businesses, announced today that it has appointed CEO of ShopRunner and former PayPal president Scott Thompson to the company’s Board of Directors.

Prior to joining Shoprunner, he served as CEO of Yahoo and as President of PayPal, with overall responsibility for establishing that company as the leading global online payment service. PayPal’s revenues grew four-fold under his leadership. Prior to PayPal, Mr. Thompson was Executive Vice President of Technology Solutions at Inovant, a subsidiary of Visa formed to oversee global technology for the organization.
